    Koehler’s Farm Market
    Visitors are invited to pick their own vegetables at Koehler’s Farm Market in Kingston. The farm allows pick-your-own services from the spring to the fall and hold various family activities are held on select weekends. Guests can find a pumpkin for Halloween or some late-season vegetables before the farm closes in late October. There are no set hours at the farm, so people should call before heading over.

    Sandy Pine Elk Farm

    Sandy Pine Elk Farm opened in August 2004. Activities include wagon rides to see these large animals or a winding corn maze. The North Woods gift shop at the farm offers a range of elk-related items, including cookbooks, meat, furniture and various other gifts. The hours of operation are Saturday from 9am to dusk and Sunday from 10am to 6pm. In the fall, Sandy Pine Elk Farm is open daily for guests.

    Country Corner

    Country Corner encompasses over 40 acres of homegrown produce including asparagus, strawberries, raspberries, watermelons, vegetables, corn, pumpkins and winter squash. Produce is available for purchase and availability depends on what produce is in season at that time. The farm also features a fun park that opens mid September and features u-pick pumpkins, jump house, petting zoo, corn maze and hayrides. A family picnic area is open from June through October.

    Quig's Mundelein

    The Dollinger Farm

    From late-September until Halloween, people can spend a day at the Dollinger Farm in Minooka. Guests can pick their own pumpkin while the kids ride a mini steam train, make friends at the petting zoo, get lost in the corn maze or take their chances in the haunted barn.     Tours to various farms in the DeKalb area will help visitors learn about modern farming techniques, problems and solutions.     Silver Moon Acres

    Silver Moon Acres features a variety of entertainment from the end of July until the end of October. A large corn maze is a popular choice. It has three different levels of routes. A pumpkin patch is also on the property, and is open from late-September to late-October. There are also on-site picnic and bonfire areas, a concession stand and a gift shop.     From Thanksgiving (the fourth Thursday in November) until December 23, people can hunt for a Christmas tree, go on a horse-drawn wagon ride, enjoy a cup of hot apple cider and shop in the on-site gift shop for decorations.
